The role:

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure flawless accounting compliance, and partner with regional leadership.  In this role, you will lead our local finance team, manage robust reporting routines, and serve as the core operational bridge between our Vietnam entity and our Scandinavian operations. You will own the numbers, drive operational efficiency, and provide actionable financial insights to guide agency growth. We are open to hiring at either the Manager or Head level, depending on what you bring to the table: your experience, your unique profile, and your culture fit.

Responsibilities:

Accounting Management & Regulatory Compliance:

• Oversee daily operations across AP, AR, General Ledger (GL), and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain complete data integrity.  
• Ensure strict compliance with VAS, Tax regulations (VAT, CIT, FCT), and statutory reporting requirements.  
• Coordinate directly with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities as required.

Financial Reporting & Cross-Border Coordination:

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes on strict deadlines.  
• Prepare monthly financial packages and support intercompany reconciliations with Nordic entities (DK/SE/NO).  
• Maintain and update internal management reporting packs and Power BI dashboards.  

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

• Monitor daily cash flow, perform regular treasury forecasts, and manage bank relationships.  
• Drive AR collections, monitor project billing schedules, and optimize working capital turnover.  

Business Partnering & Operational Finance:

• Perform Budget vs. Actual variance analysis and highlight financial risks or operational red flags.  
• Work closely with agency project teams to evaluate client project profitability, monitor pricing structures, and track campaign margins.  
• Translate complex financial data into practical recommendations for non-finance stakeholders.  

Team Leadership & Process Optimization:

• Supervise, coach, and guide junior/senior accountants to build a high-performing finance unit.
• Continuously improve internal accounting workflows, system controls, and financial policies.

What you bring to the table:

• Accounting First, Finance Second: You must have a deep, proven background in core accounting (Audit, Chief Accountant, or GL management) before having transitioned into FP&A or Finance Leadership.
• 5 to 8+ years of progressive financial management experience.
• Proven expertise in multi-entity, cross-border consolidation (Asia/EU corridors preferred).
• Strong technical mastery of advanced Excel and Power BI (you understand system workflows and data logic).
• Exceptional English and Vietnamese communication skills with the confidence to advise global Managing Partners.

General Information about the Position:

• Level: Open for Manager to Head depends on what you bring to the table: your experience, your unique profile, and your culture fit. 
• Report directly to Managing Partners on company finance side, dotted to Head of People on company culture and policy 
• Employment type: Full-time
• Working Location: Thanh My Tay Ward, Ho Chi Minh city
• Working Schedule: Working schedule: Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day. No overtime payment for manager level.
• Working time: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
