Responsibilities
- Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and receipts.
- Data Entry: Accurately input financial transactions into the accounting software, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Invoice Management: Assist in the preparation and issuance of invoices, ensuring timely billing and collection.
- Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts monthly.
- Expense Management: Process expense reports and verify expense claims to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Administrative Support: Perform general office duties such as filing, answering phones, and handling correspondence related to accounting matters.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards in all financial operations.
Requirements
- An associate‘s degree or relevant certification in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Having ability to work full-time.
- Proficiency in Google workspace, and familiarity with accounting is a plus.
- Ability to be discrete, diplomatic, and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong numerical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
